ABOUT US
Cairns Unlimited is a registered Queensland business, a home grown enterprise, run by a small but dedicated team of proud Queenslanders. The massive resource that is Cairns Unlimited was developed in response to the very real demand for a genuine one-stop, comprehensive online guide to Cairns and surrounding areas, a site where visitors could research, plan and book every element of their Tropical North Queensland holiday!
But Cairns Unlimited is soooo much more than a tourist guide...
But Cairns Unlimited is soooo much more than a tourist guide...
ACCOMMODATION AND TOUR BOOKING WEBSITES ARE A DIME A DOZEN THESE DAYS, BUT CAIRNS UNLIMITED IS SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT, BRINGING YOU THE BEST OF EVERYTHING. WHEN WE SAY 'UNLIMITED', WE MEAN THERE ARE NO LIMITS!
Steve Savage and Maria Marcelo are proud Cairns residents, and constantly remind themselves how fortunate they are to call this slice of tropical paradise their home. They love everything about Tropical North Queensland, and if you spend a little time here, you will no doubt bump into them in a rainforest swimming hole, on a mountain trail, enjoying the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef, trying out a new restaurant, or soaking up some Queensland sunshine on one of the region's beautiful sandy beaches. Well, that's when they're not working, of course!
As tourism to the Great Barrier Reef and surrounding areas began to boom, Steve and Maria noticed a lack of cohesive, comprehensive visitor information. Potential visitors would have to visit dozens of different websites to plan their vacation; accommodation sites to find hotels, motels, resorts, backpackers hostels, bed and breakfast lodging, farmstays, caravan parks and campgrounds. Then another handful of sites for attractions, tours, river cruises, and diving and snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, and yet more for transport options and rental cars. So much of the information available was out of date, or just plain incorrect. That's where Cairns Unlimited stands alone, the only true up-to-date "one stop shop" for everything about Cairns and Tropical North Queensland, from Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays to Cooktown and Cape York Peninsula, from the Atherton Tablelands to the Outback, as far west as Mount Isa and Karumba, in the Gulf of Carpentaria.
Together, Steve and Maria work tirelessly to bring you the latest and best of what's on offer around Tropical North Queensland. From the best value tours, to the top dining choices, the best destinations and attractions, and the great range of accommodation available in the region, Steve and Maria keep their fingers on the pulse of Tropical North Queensland, and share their inside secrets with you.
Cairns Unlimited is an online resource. This means that we can take advantage of the convenience and cost-effectiveness of the internet to reach a wide market and offer the best service possible. We welcome your enquiries and feedback, and would appreciate it if you would take a few seconds to complete the simple form below...
