SHAYLEE STRAWBERRY FARM
The Atherton Tablelands, located only a short drive away from Cairns,

Shaylee Strawberries is located on the Atherton Tablelands (700 metres above sea level), between Atherton and the historic township of Yungaburra. Shaylee's rich red volcanic soil and temperate weather conditions are just right for the cultivation of large succulent strawberries. 
Shaylee's strawberries are at their best during the tourist season, from July to November.Shaylee also produce 100% natural and delicious gelato and sorbet. All natural products are made of produce from the Atherton Tablelands. Fruit sorbet for diabetics is also available. Jam, honey and cold drinks.
Shaylee grow the festival and ruby gem varieties. Bred in Florida and Queensland, they are attractive fruit with dark red skin and a superb flavour.

Once planted, the strawberry plants reach first production in approximately 10 weeks and continue fruiting for 28 weeks, weather permitting.
Pickers sit on a tricycle for fruit harvesting. Overhead covers protect fruit and picker from the elements.

Refrigerated transport delivers to all districst in Tropical North Queensland.
This is the packaging building, registered kitchen and registered kiosk, which is open to the public. PICK YOUR OWN can be arranged for groups on request (during our harvest season).Strawberries can be purchased in 1kg.
