Continuing the tradition of bush riding!
Tait's Wongabel Stables has been operating since 1987. Your host, Sheila Tait, is a long-term member of the Tablelands Trail Horse Riders' Club, and has gained knowledge of the district by helping with the planning of extended rides in remote areas. She also has some experience of riding with pack horses on the Bicentennial National Trail.
While providing all riders with the opportunity to enjoy a bush ride which suits their ability, safety is always the first consideration. Appropriate tuition is given with every ride. Tait's Wongabel Stables offer one hour or the popular half day rides. For the more experienced, whole day rides can be given for small groups. Or enjoy a catered 'Holiday on Horseback' of 5 days or more, with all camping equipment supplied.
