Chillagoe Observatory and Eco Lodge provides a selection of accomodation ranging from air-conditioned cabins with ensuite & spa, to budget rooms & camping grounds. The cabins have different styles to suit everyone, from a two room family unit to a double room with ensuite. Most rooms are air-conditioned and have recently been refurbished.

There are also two separate camping areas. One is fully grassed with scattered shade trees with water taps, power on application, fire pit, BBQs, refuse bins & are close to communal amenities. The second is an expansive open area, partly grassed with scattered trees. A rustic "bush shower", refuse bins & fireplaces are provided.

For those who are fascinated by natural marvels, the privately owned Granite Gorge Nature Park is an unforgettable spectacle.

At Granite Gorge bush camping is available for tents, caravans and motor homes. There are spacious shady sites, surrounded by shady picnic areas. For your convenience, hot showers and toilets have been installed and there's also safari tent accommodation for those looking for something a bit different. And you don't have to check out until after lunch.

If you don't want to cook, there a kiosk where light lunches are available. But there's also a camper's kitchen with all the utensils you'll need. You can also use the barbecues and there's wood available for open fires.
