Adventure Microlights is an exciting new Cairns Highlands business offering trial instructional microlight flights over the beautiful Atherton Tablelands.
Dave Keough, an experienced HGFA (Hang Gliding Federation of Australia) Chief Flying Instructor and an Atherton Tableland local, has been flying hangliders for 20 years. Turning his attention to microlights, he has been introducing people to this wonderful sport for the past 5 years.
Microlighting is a strictly regulated aviation sport which comes under the supervision of CASA, Australia’s Aviation Safety Authority. All Cairns Adventure Microlights aircraft are certified to CASA requirements and meticulously maintained.

Sea Kayaking
is a unique experience of discovery and challenge. There are few better ways to explore the coastline and Islands of tropical North Queensland than in a Sea Kayak. The close proximity to nature that Kayaks allow gives detailed insights into the environment both above and below the water. Riding the sky in Cairns
Weather permitting, Air Play Hang Gliding fly daily. They do tandem flights for people wanting to experience hang gliding for the first time. Lessons and full instruction are also available for those wishing to learn to fly.

Pauls Xtreme Skydiving has two spectacular drop zones, Cairns and Mission Beach. Both of their drop zone locations are what it's believed to be the ultimate places in the world to skydive. Whichever one you choose to jump at, you'll see the most amazing scenery where the rainforest meets the reef.
From Cairns, you will fly over the city with breathtaking views of the Trinity inlet and the rainforest. As you climb to height you'll fly via the Tablelands and exit just south of the city between two mountain ranges in a beautiful green valley. In Mission Beach you will be flying over rainforest to get out over the ocean. You will see Dunk Island and many of the smaller uninhibited islands around the area. You will also take in some of the most amazing views of the reef and the beach. Under the parachute you may even get to see some wildlife swimming in the ocean if your lucky. Coral Sea Skydivers is North Queensland's largest skydiving school, using state of the art equipment and training methods. The team is made up of some of the most experienced instructors and camera people in Australia. Coral Sea Skydivers have total experience of over 20.000 jumps and 95 years in the sport.
Most of the tandem skydives are conducted in Townsville with the landing area being the Strand Beach, between the Seaview Hotel and the Aquarius Hotel. You will see a flag stuck in the sand whenever you are planning a jump, not only to let the skydivers know the wind direction, but to warn people along the beach that skydivers will be landing there. Experienced skydivers can choose between three dropzones: the Strand Beach, Bicentennial Park, both in Townsville, or Ayr.
